Sagres Point

Sagres The Sagres Point is located in the Algarve region, next to Cape St. Vincent. You can explore the 16th century fortress, where you will find a giant pebble compass rose of 43m diameter, just passing the tunnel entrance. The interesting feature about this compass rose, is that it is divided into 40 sections instead of 32, and it is considered to date back to the times of Henry the Navigator.
